First Ever Barstow Route 66 Mother Road Museum Scholarship

Students attending
Barstow Community College may apply for a $250.00
scholarship. Deadline is April 1, 2009. Applicants must demonstrate
an active interest in preservation and promotion of Route 66.

20th Annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous
SAN
BERNARDINO - The 20th annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous
is California’s largest cruisin’ classic
car show and the largest automotive celebration of the
historic Route 66 Highway! The excitement takes place
in downtown San Bernardino, California during September
17 - 20, 2009- that’s four days and three nights
of cruising fun and celebration.
The
20th annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous was a great
success thanks to our cruisers, sponsors & classic
car lovers! The readers of the Press Enterprise selected
the 2008 Route 66 Rendezvous as the Best Special Event
in the Inland Empire.
Over
2,100 beautiful pre-1974 and 500,000 car enthusiasts
cruised the 35 blocks of downtown San Bernardino in
2008 and enjoyed the awesome cars, food, vendors, sponsors
and live entertainment throughout the event.
